Do you know how much it costs you a car every year? The answer is unpleasant! The initiator met with support from Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, and therefore the state machine began to dig in this direction especially hard. But…
It is obvious to any sane person that this initiative is strange and unviable. This is to say the least. What is the meaning of such a union? That motorists had one piece of paper instead of two? But today almost all of these insurance contracts are concluded electronically, so saving on trees will fail. At the moment, we have a separate electronic contract for OSAGO, a separate electronic contract for Casco insurance. And what will the mutant contract for the purchase of a combined policy look like? The riddle.
It is completely incomprehensible what the car owner will eventually acquire. Hybrid policy with a striked-out or blank Casco field? Or will everything remain as it was? But if the policies are still being sold separately, then what is the point of such a fussy reform?
As for the savings that car owners promise when buying a universal policy, it exists only in words. In fact, the combination of compulsory motor third-party liability insurance and comprehensive insurance in one policy will most likely lead to an increase in the price of the combined insurance policy.
Casco insurance is a commercial product. And the tariff for compulsory motor liability insurance is regulated by the state as part of the tariff corridor. When buying a combined policy, its price will in any case be the sum of the cost of both products. At the same time, the car owner will be deprived of the choice - he will only have to insure his civil liability with the insurance company where he acquires a comprehensive insurance policy. And the price for compulsory motor third-party liability insurance as part of a product combined with hull insurance may well turn out to be higher than the average for the market, because where there is no choice, people immediately twist their arms. And what is the savings for the driver?

CTP must be canceled! - a heated discussion on the forum "Driving" For example, I am satisfied with the terms and conditions for compulsory motor third-party liability insurance in one insurance, and I buy a comprehensive insurance policy in another. I will be forced to purchase a combined policy in one company, regardless of whether I like both its insurance products or not. It reminds the USSR of times of shortage, when you had to purchase a certain amount of second-class meat offal when buying first-class meat. And if I already have a CTP policy, then how will I issue a combined policy for it? Will I pay for CTP twice?
And there are a lot of such unanswered questions. The idea of combining policies should first be considered from all sides, assess the risks, and only then to voice and give to the study. But it turned out as always. Will we pay again?
What about them?
In some European countries, the idea of a Russian deputy has long been successfully implemented. But not everything is so simple, and blind copying will not work.
Firstly, CTP in Europe has long been released into free market swimming. The state only obliges drivers to have a liability insurance policy with certain parameters. Secondly, the level of competition in the same Germany allows you to organically combine liability to third parties and car insurance for comprehensive insurance. And most importantly: the cost of insurance there is much higher. For example, British rates against ours are fantastically high.
