The Lend-Lease agreement played a huge role in supplying the Red Army during World War II. Import vehicles, mainly American cars of various classes and purposes, also worked for the Victory.
During the war, the Soviet automobile industry manufactured about 240 thousand cars, more than 500 thousand came to us from the USA in the form of ready-made cars and assembly kits for assembly. There were far fewer British cars in the Red Army - just over 5, 000.
