Then they came up with norms and clothed them in the form of law.

Automakers grimaced, but trumped silently: nowhere to go. Gradually, all the machines acquired catalytic converters, sensors, electronic pedals, control programs, etc. The cost jumped, and the dynamics dipped: computers stopped thoughtlessly pouring fuel into the combustion chambers without consulting the sensors. The Germans were the first to fall into deception (and first, to the USA: it successfully fell into the line of the fight against competitors!). The term “dieselgate” went down in history - someone was kicked out, humiliated, fined and even imprisoned. But since the air didn’t get any cleaner, they decided to fire … all the creations of Rudolf Diesel!

What comes of this in practice can be clarified by Monsieur Macron. For many decades, diesel and gas prices in France have remained relatively low. However, the economic program of Monsieur Macron involves raising taxes on them precisely in order to motivate people to switch to alternative energy sources. Read - on electric cars! Therefore, over the past 12 months, the price of diesel in France has grown by 23%, and gasoline - by 15%. And the same Germans now also scratch their turnips - no matter how they spread to them. Because no one needs these vests in their own country. It’s better to let them drive a diesel engine than to smash the cities and take off the authorities!

And absolutely inappropriately the statement of hundreds of pulmonologist doctors appeared, who told (with numbers in their hands) that in fact there is no PROVEN causal relationship between the content of nitrogen oxides and soot on the one hand and pulmonary oncology on the other. Moreover, this content has been steadily declining for 30 years, and oncology is growing. So this same oncology can be the result of anything - smoking, crappy food, emissions of marine diesel engines, methane exhaust of cows, etc.
