In the discussion of the material “LEDs against halogens” on the site, you stated that the gas-discharge headlights would leave the stage and the ancient halogen ones would remain. Isn't it more logical to abandon halogens?
The trend is that on expensive cars LEDs are gradually replacing discharge lamps. Xenon already in the afternoon with fire you will not find. The reasons are obvious: with the development of technology and an increase in output, LED light sources become cheaper and work more efficiently than xenon lamps.
However, so far the LEDs are not so cheap as to replace halogens. Therefore, in the near future, headlights with halogen lamps will still be installed on budget models. And LEDs do not always shine better than halogen headlights, so we periodically conduct (and will conduct) comparative tests of lighting equipment.
