In the trunk of my crossover Renault Duster 4 × 2 there are no niches for small things. I decided to place small items under the trunk floor.
To do this, I made a frame measuring 900 × 970 mm from a board with a section of 30 × 75 mm and attached it to the standard rings for fixing luggage. From plywood 10 mm thick I cut out the top cover measuring 940 × 990 mm and sawed it in half. He covered all the surfaces with Carpet. He killed two birds with one stone: the extra insert not only became an additional storage place for small things, but also raised the trunk floor - and now with the rear seatbacks folded down, you get an even two-meter “bed”.

Now, when replacing the lamps, it is enough to turn the wheels and unscrew the cover. The hand easily passes into the hatch along with the lamp. For greater aesthetics, you can paint the hatches black.
