Unlike the mug that my favorite poet was looking for on a winter evening, the containers described below are for drinking warm drinks. But these are not boilers and not mini-kettles, but only heaters connected to a 12V car socket. Their power is relatively small, and therefore they are unsuitable for boiling. However, the temperature must be maintained.

We go for water. Let us evaluate how quickly these devices raise the temperature of the liquid from the initial +20 ºС and how high. Of course, we’ll check whether it’s convenient to use them.

We tested at a supply voltage of 14.2 V. The Koto 12V 272 mug consumed the least. The current was 2 A. The Naturalist was the most voracious - 3.8 A. It is not surprising that he turned out to be the most agile: after 25 minutes, the water temperature rose to 60 ºС (the built-in thermometer at the same time showed 65 ºС). Then the agility was clearly reduced: over the next 25 minutes, the temperature increased only to 70 ºС. Well, about this was promised.
For an hour of operation, Koto 12V 272 reached 61 ºС, the Yasha TH100 mug reached 68 ºС. And the Pathfinder PF-CWS-P20 even overcame the 70 degree mark. True, the liquid is placed a little less than the rest of the circles. Perhaps that is why the result is better.

Why doesn't the temperature rise further? Presumably, the heat transfer of the mugs, which equaled the size of the supplied joules, affects this boundary. However, no one promised to boil water: you just need to keep in mind that you cannot make coffee from raw water in such a mug.
We decided not to put the products in their places: the difference between them turned out to be insignificant. Our opinion? Such a mug under the New Year tree will come in handy - not all gifts will be useless.
