In the event of an unforeseen situation, the car will reduce or increase speed, rebuild, and navigation will help bypass the traffic jam, calculating the optimal route. The driver is provided with road information by the tablet (if you wish, you can even play it at Angry Birds).

All that remains is to observe how the truck maneuvers on its own.

The intelligent parking system ZF Innovation Truck is the result of a collaboration between ZF, Bosch and Openmatics. In an innovative truck, it was possible to unite new developments in transmission, steering and telemetry into a single network. During maneuvers, the steering wheel spins itself, and the car moves exclusively on electric traction - the main engine is turned off.

The Traxon Hybrid hybrid unit consists of a modernized Traxon transmission for heavy trucks, a dry clutch and an electric motor with a capacity of 120 kW, which can produce up to 1000 N · m of torque. To charge diesel-electric buses at the final stops, special pylons are built. The recharging process is fully automated and takes only six minutes. Hybrids have already been tested in Gothenburg, and in the fall Stockholm joined the project.

The power unit consists of 240 Volvo D5K diesel engines (Euro 6) and an electric motor. Lithium-ion batteries are located on the roof. In order to at least partially compensate for their weight, many body parts were made of aluminum, which made it possible to lighten the bus by 500 kg.

The hybrid starts driving exclusively on electric traction, and the diesel is connected at a speed of 10–20 km / h. At certain sections of the route - near hospitals or schools - the bus runs only on electric, so as not to make noise and not to pollute the air. Compared to a conventional diesel bus, the plug-in hybrid saves up to 75% of fuel.

The smart loading system is interesting: collecting information through sensors installed in the cargo compartment, electronics offers the best option for placing cargo. It also controls the load locks - so that it does not move during movement.
