The Expert Center Probok.net and the Russian Federation of Car Owners are looking for extra traffic signs in Moscow. As it turned out, there is a lot of so-called informational debris on the roads, and most of the extra signs appeared in recent years, when the authorities began a large-scale struggle with traffic jams and began to restrict parking everywhere. Anyone can fill up the collection of inappropriate or contradicting each other and common sense signs, a complete list will be sent to the Moscow Traffic Management Center.
Empty pockets
One of the stupid things that is especially common in the center of the capital is the “Stop is prohibited” sign placed in front of the parking pockets. By hanging signs in this way, the data center, in fact, simply destroys the much-needed space for Muscovites, preventing pedestrians and motorists from using it. Such signs, in particular, can be seen on the understudy of Vernadsky Avenue and Avtomobilny passage.

Even odd
Signs 3.29 and 3.30 “Parking is prohibited on even (or odd) days” are long outdated and have no meaning. Previously, they were needed for utilities, which cleared snow on even days on one side of the road, and on odd days on the other. However, snow has long been removed from both sides at the same time, but for some reason the signs remained. For violation of the requirements of these signs are not fined, but not all drivers know about it. But the authorities add even more confusion when, in addition to the sign prohibiting parking on even and odd days, the sign “Stop is prohibited” is hung nearby. This situation has developed on Avtozavodskaya street, as well as near the Kaluzhskaya metro station on Profsoyuznaya street. The parking ban sign is an additional indicator that signs 3.29 and 3.30 are meaningless and must be removed.

Garlands over the road
On some streets there are not even one or two extra signs - the authorities hang unnecessary garlands of signs over large highways. A vivid example is the Warsaw highway, where 32 signs hang on one of the sections indicating that you can only move directly. To do this, seven stretch marks are installed - there is an exhaustion. Especially there are a lot of such garlands on the Garden Ring - for example, 16 signs hang on the Prospect Mira to indicate a right turn.
