At all times, it was believed that winter at the gas station comes with us on November 1. This date was confidently called in high offices, referring to regulatory documents. In practice, the situation was somewhat different. There are no requirements for winter diesel fuel, but who prevents the seller from trading in the summer or transition? In fact, no one. Moreover, the appendix to the standard, which mentions the seasonality of fuel use, is recommended!
In theory, fuel dispensers should not have faceless inscriptions like “DT” at all. You can go further and just write "fuel". Looking ahead, I note that on one it was exactly as follows: "T"! Say, let the buyer take his word for the refueling machine or rummage through passports if education and free time allow. This is not suitable: the letters L (summer) or W (winter), as well as the fuel class, should be indicated. But instead of classes, we like to write, for example, Euro 4, which is not provided for by any normative document, and we cannot find a “seasonal” letter on the columns at all.

However, these are all emotions. Another year passed: perhaps we should not remember the old in vain and now we can’t find summer diesel fuel in the winter … True, it was hard to believe, but we decided to postpone the date of sampling by a month - from November 1 to December 1. No one here will prove that winter, they say, has not yet arrived. At least in our hemisphere …
The task of express testing is simple - to understand whether the sold diesel fuel freezes. So far, we do not pay attention to the lubricity and cetane number. We remind you: not one of the purchased samples has the slightest right to freeze in the freezer.
