Where to get so much energy? Guys, how much do you need? Where to get so much energy? Guys, how much do you need?
I am well aware of the humiliation of modern electric vehicles that are dying already after 15–20 km of winter run. And yet I vote for. Only not for current toys at the price of a couple of “lemons”, but for the idea itself.
I vote for the electric car because if he went, he did it better than others! ICEs, strangled by the requirements of different Euros, are not able to compete with electric motors in the dynamics of acceleration. A braked electric motor has a crazy shaft moment! Gearboxes and other gears are useless. Ecology is also completely clear: for the sake of it, everything was started. Oils, fuels and coolants down. Winter starts turn into an incomprehensible term: what is a start for an electric motor?
I know, not everything is so simple. He himself published devastating articles, having heard about the desire of the former Moscow “city man” to buy some battery electric buses in order to drive them back and forth in spite of frost and common sense. And where are the powerful sockets with thick cables? And where to get energy for heating the cabin in winter? And how long does it take for a giant battery to recharge?
That's right, but … Clever people argue, but fools do. With what envy I climbed a random site that collected information about home-made electric cars! I finished, of course, my beloved Volga with batteries instead of a tank - I still regret that I did not do something similar from my personal 3102 …
There are still persistent Chinese. They seriously assert that in their country by 2020 electric traction will account for 20% of all car production. Volkswagen Group has been going to produce its electric cars here since 2014 and plans to increase the annual output to 100, 000 cars by 2018.
And here are examples from other countries: as early as a dozen years ago, 30 electric buses with inductive recharge of batteries at stops stopped on the streets of Turin and Genoa. Since then, these cars run 200 km per day daily without interrupting traffic. The idea is simple: just like any transformer works. Two windings are separated from each other, one is connected to an energy source, the other to a consumer. Efficiency reaches 95%! At each stop equipped with such a device, the pickup coil automatically lowers: the required clearance is only 40 mm. While passengers enter and exit, the battery is recharging - slowly, drop by drop. The described method is in a hurry to introduce the Japanese, Dutch, Americans, Germans and even the inhabitants of New Zealand.
What is not our way? I will not deny myself the pleasure of quoting the president of the country: according to his version, Russia should become a “global energy leader”, a “guarantor of energy security” in Europe and North America. In other words, we either no longer have energy problems, or will not.
Ask where to get so much energy? Guys, how much do you need? Who said that an electric car would require it in some unthinkable amounts? Kilo- and megawatts will be spent less than today - even if you continue to mindlessly burn everything under your feet to get electricity.
The Americans do differently: they create solar-powered electric vehicle free charging stations. Tesla intends to deploy Super Charger stations along the busiest routes in the USA and Canada, by 2015 their number should exceed one hundred. And in the second half of 2013, she plans to begin installing similar stations in Europe and Asia.
Is there a lot of sun in America? Yes, I heard. And we have a lot of loafers. Everyone heard about it. As for passenger cars - who prevents even tomorrow to transfer all deputies to electric cars? He came to the Duma, stuck a plug in the socket and went to take care of the welfare of the people, plus the electrification of the whole country.
