The road will not become wider, but, on the contrary, even narrower, since the extreme right lanes will be given to buses. It is planned to solve the problems of the highway by eliminating traffic lights. To do this, it is planned to build interchanges at the intersection with Ryabinova and Tolbukhin streets, which will allow you to get rid of three traffic lights at once, significantly limiting the speed of this section. Motorists will be able to turn onto streets adjacent to the highway from the side driveways-understudies, which will be equipped under the overpasses.
It is also planned to build directed exits at the “clover” junction of the Mozhaisk highway with the Moscow Ring Road. The builders are to build six new flyovers here, which will provide turning movement and unload the existing ramps. According to the project, two directional exits will be organized from the inner side of the ring road to the Minsk highway to the region and Mozhaisk highway to the center, two more new flyovers will allow drivers to turn towards the region and towards the city center when driving on the outer side of the MKAD. It is also planned to build two overpasses along the main line of the highway through the ring road.

Another major facility is the headland tunnel under the Mozhayskoye Shosse at the entrance to the Moscow Ring Road. The tunnel will connect Belovezhskaya and Barvikhinskaya streets.
Active work is already underway on the Mozhaisk overpass. The reconstructed overpass will solve three key tasks at once: organize dedicated lanes for public transport on Kutuzovsky Prospekt, build the third main route of the Small Ring of the Moscow Railway (there will be a transport hub in this area), as well as replace the main supporting structures of the overpass that have reached the standard deadlines operation.

In addition, about 45 access pockets at public transport stops and a total of 20 km of dedicated lanes will be created on the Kutuzovsky Prospekt - Mozhayskoye Shosse highway. The city construction department promises to “try” to finish all work by the end of 2014. The authorities also try to do everything possible so as not to create inconvenience for motorists during the reconstruction. It is not planned to block traffic on any part of the route, and for the safety of metro passengers in the vicinity of the Kutuzovskaya station, where open paths of the Filevskaya line pass, the builders built a protective dome from metal structures.
