If compact models, for the most part urban cars with a relatively small interior and trunk, it’s still enough to separate from the older brothers in length (up to 4.6 m) and base (up to 2.7 m), then draw a clear line between the middle and large crossovers, which are addressed to wealthy lovers to travel all year round, is not easy. Understanding the conventions of such a separation, for the convenience of readers - and buyers! - we tried to determine a certain line of demarcation - based on a combination of indicators of the length, width, height and base of the car. If the sum of these 4 parameters does not reach the mark of 11.2 meters, then we attribute the crossover to mid-size.
In this issue we present all such machines officially sold in Russia. For those who can’t imagine their future all-wheel drive without a “machine”, we indicate in brackets the minimum price with automatic transmission.
