It is gratifying that all the innovations were not too noticeably reflected in the price of the car; however, additional equipment still needs to be selected carefully enough so that the hatchback does not turn out to be excessively expensive.

Take as a basis
To begin, choose a body. The three-door looks more dynamic than the 5-door modification, and it costs 21, 000 rubles cheaper - and yet it is not suitable for the best option: the "efficiency" of such a machine is lower than that of the version with additional passenger portals. A roomy wagon, sold with might and main in Europe, has not been delivered to us yet. So let's stop at the 5-door hatchback.
Before choosing a power unit, it is worth noting that now Volkswagen has no aspirated engines left: the old 102-horsepower 8-valve, once popular with Russian golfers, went on a well-deserved rest.
The base 86-horsepower turbo engine has been significantly modernized, and now the hatch equipped with it accelerates to 100 km / h in 11.9 s (0.4 s faster than before), while consuming almost 20% less fuel in the city. So such a motor has a right to life - say, the 99-strong Auris is slower and gluttonous than the base Volkswagen.
And yet, in our opinion, it makes sense to pay 37, 000 rubles for a 105-horsepower modification with a 6-speed “mechanics” - with it, the Golf reaches hundreds in 10.2 s, and it eats no more than the base fuel. This motor could be considered optimal, if you do not take into account the fact that an even more talented 1.4 TSI can be obtained for a modest surcharge of 25 000 rubles, which also implies a rear multi-link suspension instead of a curling beam, which are equipped with “Golfs »With weaker engines. 122 forces provide the car with excellent dynamics - 9.3 s to hundreds, such a "Golf" can argue with much more powerful Japanese and Korean rivals. So we will take this engine as the basis.
But the most powerful 140-horsepower turbo engine can be obtained only in the most expensive version and also exclusively with a DSG robotic gearbox. This, of course, is an excellent choice for those who need a “heated” hatchback (8.4 s to 100 km / h), but you cannot call it optimal - such a “Golf” is much more expensive.
It remains to choose a complete set. The basic Conceptline is better equipped than its predecessor in the Trendline version: dynamic stabilization system (for which previously had to pay extra 22, 710 rubles), an electronic XDS differential lock, an on-board computer, are now added to seven airbags, ABS, air conditioning and power accessories electronic "handbrake" with the function of holding the car "Auto-Hold" and a tire pressure sensor.
By and large, supplementing this set with the Comfort package for 34, 900 rubles. (5-door body with rear power windows, 2-zone climate control, front armrest and leather steering wheel), you can just 633 900 rubles. become the owner of a very favorable price / equipment ratio of a thoroughbred car of the German brand and the German assembly.
But there are a few nuances: say, "Concept Line" can only be obtained with the base engine, exclusively with the manual gearbox, without a radio, and with body-colored mirrors and door handles. If the last “flaw” is relatively easy to correct, then it will not be possible to solve the issue of “music” with little blood. The fact is that the place of the radio is not empty - the control computer display is located there.
The “Trendline” version, which stands a notch higher, is more expensive by weighing 61, 000 rubles, and richer only by handles and mirrors in body color and a music center - albeit with a 5-inch touch screen. Trendline supplements the disproportionate surcharge with additional equipment by selecting power units and gearboxes.
The next version of the Comfortline, which was not previously offered in Russia, is comparable to the previous Highline: there are already heated front seats, a leather steering wheel, a richer and more functional interior with central armrests, improved front seats, and lightweight wheels alloy. We can say that 62, 000 rubles work much better here - almost two dozen were proposed instead of two positions. But is all this optimal for our optimum? Hardly. Moreover, the choice of engines and gearboxes here is identical to Trendline. Another thing is that Comfortline has more additional options: Security, Light and Overview packages (it includes bi-xenon headlights), plus a more advanced radio and navigation, an ergonomic driver's seat, adaptive cruise control - all these riches for Trendline is not available. Therefore, if any of the listed equipment is vital for you, there is nowhere to go - you will have to pay extra.
The most expensive version of Highline today (+46, 000 rubles) includes bi-xenon and fog lights, interior trim with fabric and Alcantara, alloy wheels increased by an inch, 2-zone climate control and excessive use of shiny black plastic Piano black "- beautiful, but impractical. So if you are not embarrassed by the “piano lacquer” and are attracted by the combination of a 1.4-liter engine with a DSG, then you should pay extra for the “Highline”: biksenon and Alcantara alone in the cabin are worth the money.
So, we take the Volkswagen-Golf-Trendline-1.4TSI as the basis. At the same time, we would like to keep the car in the range of 800-900 thousand, so as not to step on the territory of the middle class. And since the basic version already has almost all the necessary ingredients, we just have to lightly season this dish with several options.
PACKAGE "COMFORT" (34 900 RUB.). This includes an additional pair of doors with power windows, 2-zone climate control, a front armrest with air ducts for couch passengers and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob. The five-door is preferable from a practical point of view, and even the fact that the doors go exclusively as part of the aforementioned package, we do not consider a disadvantage: the predecessor required 49, 000 rubles for a similar set - 40% more!

COLOR METALLIC (15 210 RUB.). You can get free gray and white acrylic that go to Golf - so it’s not a sin to save money. In addition, for a small surcharge of 4470 rubles. dealers offer black or red enamel. But the choice among metallists is wider - eight colors, in addition, the hatchback looks more elegant in them, and the durability of such a coating is higher.
PACKAGE "TECHNICIAN" (24 900 RUB.). It summarizes the heating of the front seats, headlight washer, fog lights with cornering function, front and rear parking sensors and a right mirror, which helpfully lowers, allowing the driver to control the rear wheel.
ALARM (9230 RUB.). A full-fledged factory security system, including volume and roll sensors, a self-powered siren and two remote controls with a remote control at a reasonable price.
ADVANCED FEATURES OF THE ON-BOARD COMPUTER (2140 RUB.). At Volkswagen this option is called the Plus multifunction display. The surcharge is ridiculous, but the benefits are real - in addition to data on fuel consumption, you will get more opportunities for individual settings of on-board vehicle systems.
