A historic event for Moscow occurred on July 1 of last year: its territory increased due to the annexation of 148 thousand hectares of land in the south-west of Moscow Region, right up to the border with the Kaluga Region. In total, 21 municipalities passed to Moscow, including two urban districts - Troitsk and Scherbinka, as well as 19 urban and rural settlements (in Podolsky, Leninsky and Naro-Fominsky districts of the Moscow region). Also part of the territory of the Odintsovo and Krasnogorsk districts of the Moscow Region went to the capital. As a result, two new urban districts were formed: Troitsky and Novomoskovsky, the population of "New Moscow" amounted to 235 thousand people.
So much good fell over, and what to do with it is still unclear. One thing is clear: in order to attract people and business to new territories, infrastructure is needed, primarily roads. The motorization of the population is one of the main factors of the imbalance in the development of the capital, because of which expansion became necessary. Security at the level of 380 cars per thousand inhabitants was included in the master plan of Moscow only by 2025. But today this figure has already been exceeded, and the number of cars is growing by 5-6% annually, while the level of development of the road network in the Russian capital is two to three times lower than in any other megalopolis in the world.

Transfer part of traffic to new “growth points” - This is a strategy of the authorities
Throwing part of traffic flows to new “growth points” is the strategy of the city authorities. For this, a complete reconstruction of 11 highways is planned. Design work on the six routes that form the main transport framework of New Moscow begins in 2013. Among them are the reconstruction of the main highway of the annexed territories - Kaluga highway, the road between the villages of Salaryevo and Mamyri (connect Kiev and Kaluga highway), the central road in Kommunarka (before reaching Butovo), the Solntsevo-Butovo highway, Vnukovsky highway (from Minsk to Borovsky).
Roads

Existing and planned roads will make up the bulk of the developed territorial schemes of the Trinity and Novomoskovsky administrative districts, which will be valid until the final adjustment of the general plan of Moscow in 2014. They will connect with the capital and between themselves 12 clusters - “growth points” that will be created in the new districts. Moreover, the density of these “points” will vary depending on the distance from the Moscow Ring Road: closer to “Old Moscow” the average density is proposed, then closer to the Central Ring Road, the density is moderate, closer to the borders of “New Moscow” the density is low. The list of new “growth points” will include the Rumyantsevo technopark, the village of Mosrentgen, the administrative and business cluster in Kommunarka, the aeropolis Vnukovo, Ryazanovo, the innovation and research center in Troitsk, Yartsevo, the logistics cluster Kiev, Schapovo, Voronovo, Klenovo and Rogovo agricultural districts.
As part of the development of public transport in "New Moscow" it is proposed to extend the Sokolnicheskaya metro line. In 2014, it is planned to build 7.6 km of the metro line from the Yugo-Zapadnaya station with the Troparevo, Rumyantsevo, Salaryevo stations, with an electric depot and a transfer hub. At the same time, “Rumyantsevo”, “Salaryevo”, electric depot and TPU will be located in the new territories of the capital.
