But tell me, does the fresh Skoda Superb look worse than the previous one? It seems to me that the car acquired something that it lacked a little - a noble gloss and seriousness in the “face”, which certainly does not spoil such a large car. Updated branding emblems were added to the new lighting technology with LEDs (bi-xenon headlights - option): the background is black instead of the usual green.
They updated the interior, mainly due to new materials and a steering wheel. By the way, now you can choose a steering wheel three- or four-spoke - a rare option in our time. Among other small but interesting gadgets: at the base “sedanobek”, the buttons for opening sections of the luggage door moved from the opening between the door and the bumper a little higher, into the niche of the license plate. Let me remind you: at the Superba, you can open the trunk lid, like a sedan, or you can also the entire rear wall, like in a hatchback.

In general, to ride on this is not only uninteresting, but also tiring. However, I repeat, this does not threaten us.

Much clearer and more logical is this snow-white station wagon. I’m standing at the supermarket, wondering what could be downloaded here. Refrigerators and TVs do not count (although they fit in!). And you can fill so much with something everyday that it’s enough for a long time.

But none of them are nearby, so it remains to rejoice at the elegant comfortable interior, an excellent chair and a wonderful bunch of 140-horsepower diesel engine and a 6-speed DSG. It is necessary to press the gas a little sharper at the start, and the front tires will emit a disturbed screech even before the traction control works. A car without tension is accelerated at any reasonable speed. At the same time, especially without saving, it is easy to keep fuel consumption in the range of 5–5.5 l / 100 km. And this is the "cruiser" with a curb weight of more than 1, 500 kg.
I went to the Superba before, the station wagon just allowed me to refresh my impressions. On good roads and gentle waves, the car runs smoothly and smoothly, stands perfectly on straight lines and even allows you to quickly enter corners. However, getting adrenaline on a huge family wagon is, of course, nonsense. The suspension does not really like grooves with sharp edges (on Austrian roads I looked for such ones specifically), responding harshly to them. But show cars that love such obstacles!

I never came up with what I would carry on such a "ship." But I have no doubt that many would find application for this volume. In part, I envy them. But frankly speaking, it was nice to me to manage such a universal business class station wagon. After all, sometimes the consciousness that you have something in stock is no less important than its everyday use …
