Among foreign cars, the most popular among thieves were the Mazda CX-7 and Toyota RAV4. More often they began to abduct Renault, Hyundai, and Kia. Interest in BMW and Mercedes has fallen. In the last places of the criminal rating are “Saab”, “Jeep”, “Jaguar” and Chinese brands.
"Work" literally boils in Moscow and the region. Here in 2012, more than 15, 000 cars were stolen from a 7 millionth fleet (plus 4% compared with 2011, or 800 more). About four dozen cars leave the hands of their rightful owners daily, in Moscow itself - 22–25.
