An elegant "Japanese" class D appeared on our market in December last year. The set of modifications is still small: the only body is a sedan, one is not very peppy, despite the phenomenally high compression ratio (13: 1), a 2-liter gasoline engine of 150 hp (10.6 seconds to accelerate to hundreds) and a couple of gearboxes - a six-speed automatic and mechanics. True, they soon promise a more powerful 2.5-liter engine with a "start-stop" system and recovery of braking energy, but so far we are choosing from what we have. And there are three basic configurations and six additional packages.

Initial Drive
(925, 000 rubles) does not look poor at all. Here and air conditioning, and full power accessories, and central locking, and even alloy wheels of a prestigious diameter of 17 inches. Moreover, only here you can choose the type of gearbox - there are no mechanics in other trim levels. If the car is exclusively a vehicle for you, the lack of rain and light sensors, the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel and the electric folding side mirrors will not particularly upset you. We probably lacked only a leather steering wheel braid, parking sensors and the function of monitoring dead zones, which is part of one of the packages inaccessible to minimalists.

"Mazdoprodavtsev", have mercy! For 975 thousand rubles, they could have poured more options, and not just an automatic machine. The Toyota Camry is much richer in the database, but 6 thousand cheaper.

We believe that low-profile tires of size 225 / 45R19 will not deliver much pleasure on our patched-patched roads, as well as a rear-view camera with dynamic marking that is always smeared with dirt. True, the fully electrified driver's seat and the Bowes audio system with 11 speakers can slightly obscure these shortcomings.

The power unit is offered in a single version - with automatic transmission. What to do, we take, although the box could be cheaper: 50, 000 rubles. for a classic hydraulic machine - a little expensive (the average price of such a unit is 35, 000 - 40, 000 rubles). Not all manufacturers charge an extra charge for metallic, but here they ask for 14, 000 rubles for it. We agree, because in our harsh conditions a more reliable coating is preferable. But to give 19, 000 rubles. we will not stand for branded red - the beauty of this sacrifice is not worth it.

Dealers can also offer something useful. But they value their services too expensive. Rubber troughs in the salon for 3900 rubles. and composite crankcase protection at the price of 7500 rubles. (with installation) can still be considered a more or less reasonable proposal, but a set of mud flaps for 10 000 rubles. or a mesh for additional radiator protection for almost the same money - clearly beyond good and evil. We refuse the security complex for 45, 000 rubles for another reason: dealers install it, most likely, according to a knurled pattern, which subsequently facilitates the work of attackers.

Minimum equipment “Drive” is not particularly popular among buyers - they prefer “Active” with packages No. 1 and No. 2 or “Suprim” in the basic version. Cars in various versions are available, fans of the exclusive will have to wait three to four months - the ordered car will be brought from Japan! Soon they promise to arrange assembly at the Sollers factory in Vladivostok, but the delivery time is unlikely to be seriously reduced - the path is also not long. But a more powerful (19 hp) 2.5-liter engine is expected in the near future. Price has not yet been announced; supposedly surcharge will be about 100 thousand rubles.

This is perhaps the most controversial option of modern cars. After all, climate control systems can provide any weather in the cabin. In addition, the hatch eats up a fair amount of space above the head. The skylight will definitely be needed by malicious smokers (the interior is ventilated faster) and lovers of sunlight. They say that it is often ordered by owners of large dogs who do not part with their pets while traveling.
