Spark Plug Replacement
In accordance with Renault Duster maintenance regulations, the spark plugs should be changed every 30 thousand kilometers. The manufacturer recommends the use of Eyquem RFC58LZ2E, Sagem RFN58LZ or Champion RC87YCL candles. We carry out work on a cold engine.

When screwing in the spark plug, it is necessary to rotate the spark plug key or extension cord with the head by hand, and not with a knob or ratchet, in order to avoid damage to the thread of the spark plug hole in the cylinder head. If the candle is not threaded, there will be a strong resistance to rotation. In this case, it is necessary to completely unscrew the candle and, having cleaned the thread, re-wrap. Finally tighten the candle with the prescribed torque (25-30 Nm). Excessive tightening may damage the threads in the spark plug holes in the cylinder head. Similarly, replace the remaining spark plugs.
Drive Belt Replacement
The drive belt of mounted units requires replacing every 60 thousand kilometers or after four years of operation (whichever comes first), regardless of its condition. We carry out work on a viewing ditch or overpass. Depending on the vehicle equipment, there are two options for the drive circuit of auxiliary units - with and without air conditioning. The belt tension is automatically adjusted by the tensioner. Work is shown on an air-conditioned car.
For every maintenance, we recommend checking the condition of the drive belt of the mounted units. To do this, remove the right front wheel and the right mud guard of the engine compartment. We turn off three self-tapping screws for attaching the fender of the right wheel to the front bumper and one self-tapping screw for attaching the fender to the wing.
