Sold cars. Serious market changes were required. The restyled “Cupra” arrived in time for these events, the start of sales of which is scheduled for the end of spring. Can a faster Ibiza turn the tide?

Among the class B hot hatch formally officially presented in our market today, these figures are the best. “Seat” leaves behind such well-deserved “lighters” as the co-platform “Skoda Fabia RS” (7.3 s, 224 km / h) and the Opel Corsa OPC (7.2 s, 225 km / h).
And how “Ibiza Cupra” loves to turn! Thanks to the ground clearance reduced by 20 mm compared to the regular version (and 5 mm relative to the FR), shock absorbers of greater rigidity and adapted springs, the Spanish hatchback is screwed into the asphalt turns simply phenomenally. At speeds adequate to common sense, I was never able to tear the car into a skid or make it slide out with the front axle - the Kupra understeer tends to be neutral, the car is very understandable and predictable.

Against the background of these figures, it’s scary to imagine how much they can ask for the updated “Cupra”! Or is it not scary?

They will probably remove the FR version from the line, but they will keep a close price tag for Cupra. According to information received from representatives, this option is now being considered.
