We took the quality of the image as a basis, allocating places. All six test participants promise Full HD video with a resolution of 1920 × 1080. For daytime shooting, the “excellent” rating was earned by KARKAM and Bliss-AvtoKam. Even in the midst of Moscow slush, they quite clearly fix the numbers of their downstream neighbors at a distance of up to 10 m - of course, with moderate pollution. Park City was not as cool as its price promised, but it earned the second place. Black Box and Mio performed worse, their limit is one and a half to two times lower than that of the leaders. But the product of the brand "Rhythmix", most likely, turned out to be defective. This DVR was filming a daytime “movie” with incredible overexposure, and nightly recordings do not stand up to criticism: the movement is not just the number - the model of the car cannot be made out!
In the dark, “AutoCam” pleased us, having recouped for the first discipline “ParkCity” and joined them “Black Box”. The latter surprised: a modest price and a general sense of negligence of the manufacturer did not interfere with a good shooting in motion. But “KARKAM” with “Mio” did not shine. Watching their videos, you can read the symbols on the “tin” of a neighbor in the stream only under the condition of perfect cleanliness and a distance of not more than 4 m (or standing at a traffic light). It is curious that when shooting in static, “KARKAM” with “Myo” produced a sharper image than the “Black Box”, but for us the dynamics are still more important.
All devices have a viewing angle of 110–120º, but the test showed a huge difference. Park City sees almost the entire windshield cleaning sector, slightly inferior to it Rhythmix and Mio. In the lagging behind - “Black Box” and “AutoCam” with very modest coverage areas. But in another characteristic, no manufacturer lied: there are no “white spots” between the recorded fragments (many models sinned this a year and a half ago). The unambiguous outsider is Rhythmix AVR-665. In the DVRs, the copy we bought is not suitable. However, perhaps someone will peck at the functions of a voice recorder, flashlight or camera. “KARKAM-Q5 Light” and “Mio-May-View 225” are high-quality products, however, they were summed up by night tests. In addition, the first one has a short power wire (you can’t continue under the casing and do not reach the outlet in the second row), and the Mio’s set the date and time twice lost during the test.
Closer to the leader, Black Box 28 and Park City DVR HD 530. Of course, there is a difference in the quality of workmanship and the convenience of the interface, but ParkCity has a serious drawback to the inconvenient menu and the small viewing angle of the cheap Black Box. The fact is that the record shutdown key responds to the most gentle touch. As a result, it costs nothing to accidentally stop it by adjusting the position of the device or by turning on the backlight by the adjacent button. A similar situation with the inclusion of the registrar: taking it out of the car, instead of recording a traffic incident, you get a fascinating video from the life of the contents of your pocket or purse. In fairness, we note that the 530th kit includes a carrying case - an extremely necessary attribute with such a feature of the device. Other accessories found in the box puzzled me: why didn’t I understand why the remote control and the charger for the 220 V network were for the DVR?
I would give a place in my car to the AutoKam-NV310 DVR. Stable shooting quality, adequate price, the most convenient menu and, in addition, a shock sensor - after it is triggered, the recording of the moment of the accident is automatically placed in an indelible directory. Other comparison participants have only a manual analogue of this function.

In parallel with the main participants, we tested, outside the standings, the much more expensive Akenori-1080 X model. There is a GPS module, a memory function of the route traveled, an impact sensor and even a pair of active safety assistants: one warns of getting off the lane, the other warns of a dangerous approach to the vehicle in front. For their successful operation, the driver requires a simple calibration of the device and a verified installation. True, Russia has not yet clearly matured to control the markings, but the second assistant signals the danger clearly and in the case. Of course, it is not a complete replacement for the systems installed in the machines at the factory, but even in this form it will save you from big trouble.

The main advantage of the device is the pre-installed base of video recording cameras. Akenori will warn about them with graphics on the display, a squeak or a whole information block, which is voiced in a pleasant voice. Fresh data is available on the manufacturer's website. True, updates occur once every couple of months, which is not encouraging.
