Together with Renault specialists, we worked on the settings of the front and rear suspensions. Result: exchange rate stability has improved. Architecture and geometry remained the same, changes affected springs, struts and shock absorbers, stabilizers. The new suspension will go to all the “grants”.
2. FRONT AND REAR BRAKE SHOES

They will use materials with improved characteristics, the size of the pads will remain the same. In addition, they are testing a modernized vacuum booster with changed parameters, they plan to increase the size of the front brake, as well as the diameter of the working cylinder. First of all, a more effective brake system is addressed to promising modifications with an engine capacity of 1.8 liters, which they plan to master in 2014-2015.

They will be placed in the backs of the front seats. Thus, in the maximum configuration on the front seats of the Grants riders will protect four air bags. Supplied by Takata, a well-known manufacturer of components for passive safety systems.
4. 15 INCH WHEELS

On original design discs, it is recommended to mount 185 / 55R15 tires. At the same time, a new rear wheel hub (designation 2192) with a reduced overhang will go into production. It will be possible to install 14- and 15-inch wheels on it.

On the “grants” with the new suspension there will also be EURs with corresponding calibrations. The supplier now and in the near future is the only one - the Korean company Mondo.

The current rail was attached to the front panel via rubber pads, the new one is fixed rigidly, through metal bushings. The reaction of the car to steering the steering wheel has improved, thoughtfulness in behavior has gone. In the most affordable “Standard” configuration, the steering mechanism will still be “long” (four turns of the steering wheel from lock to lock) and without an amplifier, but the mount is new.
7. STABILIZATION SYSTEM

Together with Bosch specialists, they adapted the latest system of the ninth generation to Grant. ESP 9 will be offered as an option for a complete set "Luxury".
8. ENGINE VAZ-21127

This is an upgrade to the current 1.6-liter 16-valve 21126 engine. The main difference is that the intake has become adjustable. At low speeds, air enters the cylinders through a long channel, at high speeds through a short channel. The new engine is more high-torque in operating modes. Maximum power increased from 72 to 78 kW, torque - from 145 to 150 N · m.
