Interior materials have become even better. Well-thought-out ergonomics of the driver’s seat are slightly spoiled by seats that are uncomfortable for a long journey: the small pillows of the front seats are designed more for a person of short stature.
This is one of the rarest cases where the steering wheel does not completely overlap the dashboard. The tidy itself is located closer to the windshield, which facilitates the reading of information and tuning the steering wheel to fit.
For a small car, the 208th holds well on the road. We have more than once been given the opportunity to verify this on snowy tracks along the road from Moscow to Bratislava.
The 120-horsepower version with an “automatic” seemed a bit twitchy for city driving. "Automatic" or barely pulls, or sharply spins up the engine speed. A special habit is required. But the diesel modification with the "mechanics" is beyond praise. The elasticity of the motor allows you to forget about gear shifting for a long time: at the fourth speed, the car travels without tension in the range from 40 to 110 km / h. After the engine reaches 1500 rpm, rapid acceleration follows. At the same time, diesel fuel consumption does not exceed 6 liters in the city and 5.5 on the highway.
