The undisputed leader of the outgoing, 2012 was the Renault Duster crossover. At the very beginning, in January, we share our first impressions: marketers, journalists, engineers made a lot of efforts to make a cheap car look more expensive. The deliberate brevity of Logan in the Russian version of the crossover is partially masked. But, fortunately, Duster retained the spirit of simplicity and accessibility, it still does not have a single frankly superfluous element (the gas emphasis of the hood does not count).

- A thousand kilometers driving Duster along the highway and gullies convinced me - the vast majority of those eager to get it make the right choice. For very sane money, the owner of the Duster gets a roomy car, indifferent to the quality of roads. Of course, we are not talking about prestige, but now there is simply no better universal universal summer-family car for the money in the Russian market.

Interest in Duster did not weaken in other months. In the spring, we tried to choose the optimal Renault Duster, it should have turned out to be safe, decently equipped, with an engine with sufficient power. At the same time, we had to maintain an attractive price tag so that competitors were left behind. The results in the table:
