Choosing an engine is also not too troublesome: the basic 8-valve “four” with a volume of 1.4 liters, although it has a modest 77 forces, is very lucky, noticeably souring only at speeds of 120 km / h or at full load. However, if you take into account the urban nature of this machine, it is easy to forgive such flaws. You can only visit the far from ideal work of robotic "mechanics" - but, unfortunately, the Italians did not provide for other "automation". But with the “mechanics” the small motor works very quickly, which makes passport 13.2 s to 100 km / h seem too modest. It is this power unit that can be considered optimal.

But we still can’t ignore the 16-valve modification of the same engine forced to 105 forces, thanks to which Punto will exchange the first hundred 2.5 seconds faster. It is also important that this motor is more economical - especially in urban driving conditions. It is only a pity that it can not be obtained either in the basic version of the Izi equipment, or with an automatic transmission.
Blue & Mi System
The most powerful engine of the same volume due to turbocharging develops 135 serious forces for the supermini, which means really fast (8.5 s to 100 km / h) acceleration and commendable efficiency. In addition, the surcharge for the turbo is frankly small compared to the 105-horsepower modification (only 20 thousand rubles) - all the more so since this version gets a dynamic stabilization system, 17-inch alloy wheels and noticeably more effective brakes. However, deliberately stiff suspension, coupled with low-profile tires, not every driver will appreciate, and the presence of only two passenger doors will not suit everyone. But against the background of other more or less hot hatchbacks “Punto-1, 4T” can be considered perhaps the most affordable.

It remains to choose a complete set. Already the basic “Easy” is well equipped: two airbags, ABS, air conditioning, CD radio and sensible power accessories. There is also a highlight - a dual-mode electric power steering with City settings.
For the version of the “Lounge” you will have to pay 40 thousand rubles, and of the positions that are really necessary for the optimum, only side air bags and leather-wrapped steering wheel can be noted. In addition, such a modification is not combined with the motor and MCP we have chosen.
Thus, the most profitable option for today is the Easy version. We will try our best to ensure that Punto does not protrude much beyond the boundaries indicated by a bar of 600 thousand rubles - it makes no sense to pay more for a budget supermini.
