BMW X1 LCI
The company is positioning the changes that have occurred with the youngest of the "X" not as a serious restyling, and even more so as not cardinal changes. The novelty, dubbed the BMW X1 LCI, does not have a pronounced "gender" focus, implying mainly a female or male group of buyers, is designed to make the car attractive to a wide youth audience. Therefore, it differs mainly in design. Now, just as it is implemented in the case of 1-Series hatchbacks, customers are offered the choice between two lines: xLine and Sport Line.
In both cases, the car received a new front bumper, the shape of which changed to suit pedestrian safety requirements - it is designed in such a way as to avoid contact at the knee joint level and try to mitigate the consequences by sending the body to the wide plane of the hood. The latter, in turn, is maximally raised above the engine and is designed to protect the pedestrian from contact with hard parts.
Of the other changes in appearance, it is worth mentioning the new graphics of the headlights - they received a new edging and LED backlighting, as well as a reduced amount of unpainted black plastic.
Some changes can be found in interior design. So the monitor panel of the information and navigation system received a new design, becoming more ergonomic. Of the technical changes, it is worth noting the maximum implementation of the BMW ConnectedDrive system and Efficient Dynamics technologies. Now for cars with an eight-speed automatic gearbox manufactured by ZF, the Auto Start-Stop system and ECOPRO mode, the braking energy recovery system, a disconnected air conditioning compressor, and an indicator for optimal transmission have become available.
