There are several conclusions: in Russia a new, rather powerful industry has formed; in Europe, the sales crisis, but we don’t, in addition, the export of "Russian foreigners" is gaining momentum. Cars of the Renault, Hyundai, Kia, and Volkswagen brands made in Russia are already being delivered abroad, even if only to their closest neighbors - Belarus, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.

So far there have been no official statements, but it’s already clear that they will become the “Renault-Logan” of the new generation, which has just been shown in Paris (details - at the beginning of the issue).

At the Izhevsk Automobile Plant, which has actually become a branch of AvtoVAZ, in 2013 they plan to reach the full capacity of the Grants issue. At the end of the year, perhaps this is where the hatchback of this model will appear on the assembly line. There are still rumors about certain Nissan and Renault models that may be registered in Izhevsk, but there is still no certainty at all.
GAZ, the second largest Russian automobile plant in terms of production, is also becoming a number of manufacturers of foreign models. Today, the Skoda-Yeti crossover is assembled there using the large-knot method. By the end of this year, the plant will switch to the full assembly cycle of Skoda and Volkswagen cars; next year they hope to produce 60 thousand cars of these brands there. The bet is placed on the Octavia and Jetta models. At a full capacity of 110 thousand cars, according to Peter Linkhart, the head of the Volkswagen Group Rus-GAZ project, the plant will be launched in 2014.
In addition, GAZ Group and General Motors entered into a contract assembly agreement. Now, in accordance with it, new equipment for welding is being assembled. The launch of Chevrolet Aveo sedans and hatchbacks will also take place early next year; production volume - up to 30 thousand cars annually.

Sollers has a number of projects with other companies. In May, the production of Japanese medium-tonnage trucks at the Sollers-Isuzu JV in Ulyanovsk resumed; next year the lineup will expand.
