Fortunately, they do not make eternal castles - the most remarkable instance resists the destructive pressure only for a certain time. Here we undertook to measure it.
Of course, they didn’t get involved in crime: master classes for novice crooks are not our profile. Employees of emergency technical assistance services were invited to participate in the experiment, since they had to open the locks quite often and quite officially - for money, by order of the owner. Not everyone took a chance: some rated the chances of getting into a mess quite high. So there is every reason to consider those who agreed to be the best of the best.

The task was set for them: by eye, having evaluated the design of the pin lock, release the steering shaft without damaging the car. The property is official! And since the three teams of rescuers were opposed by the locks of three different manufacturers, which were alternately mounted on three identical “logans”, the meeting was held on a “each with each” system.
From the side, what happened was by no means indifferently watched by representatives of the opposite camp - manufacturers of these same locking devices. Certificates with certificates, but when will you still participate in the full-time duel!

After all, we experimented in the light of day, fearlessly announcing the neighborhood with a crash of benzoelectric generators. "Interception" is a unique construction of its kind. The lock part is arranged randomly - there is no pre-programmed code. So if you lose the key and its duplicate, welcome to us. In this case, we did without a cutting tool - we simply rolled the case with a powerful self-locking key with a pipe worn on top.

With the "Guarantor" had to deal with more than once. You cannot take such a larva with a convolution. This is not for you “Dragon” and other “oriental sweets”, opened with a paper clip in a couple of minutes. Here, a master key can hardly help, except in the hands of an excellent professional. We sawed the castle part in a strictly defined place - otherwise the focus will fail.

"Interception" is a gorgeous thing: high quality workmanship and materials. It will not be possible to feel the pins, that is, pick up the key due to the absence of spring-loaded elements: the position of freely floating pins is almost impossible to determine. When trying to cut the case across, the inner rotating part bit the cutting disc. In the end, they made two longitudinal cuts and separated the castle part.

And so - they cut off one side, bent the other. Although I had to sweat.

The test results proved once again: opening the Garant lock without using a powerful power tool is an impossible task. This is known to both hijackers and people who are professionally engaged in dismantling locks when they lose the key. Unlike other locks, the time to study the “Guarantor” and attempts to cope with it by manipulation and power methods was not expended; the specialists immediately started dismantling with the help of a grinder. Exchange of experience is very useful. A number of ideas should be considered more closely.
