The run “Beijing - Moscow 2012” started on June 5 and ended on July 3. It is dedicated to the Year of Russian Tourism in China. The total length of the route is almost 10 thousand km. The run participants, Russian and Chinese journalists, crossed four regions of the PRC and 18 regions of the Russian Federation. The run was divided into three stages, the total number of participants reached 98 people. The length of the average daily haul was 500 km; the maximum daily haul reached 850 km. The highest point on the route is Altai Mountain Tserkovka, 796 m above sea level. Cars for the run were provided by the largest Chinese manufacturer - Great Wall. Eight Hover H6 crossovers followed from Beijing to Moscow, two Hover M2 station wagons and two Wingle 5 pickups as technical support.
