But when the navigator freezes for 10-12 seconds after entering the next letter when typing the name of a city or street, it starts to annoy. The processor clearly lacks performance, any difficult outcome for it is similar to a test for quick thinking - as a rule, here it stumbles and falls silent, and the picture on the screen freezes helplessly.
It’s a pity, because the rest of the Lada navigator performs its functions quite well - it lays the correct routes, gives competent voice prompts. In a word, if a faster processor is installed in the VAZ navigator and the control unit is finalized, then it can be recognized as an option worth its money. In the meantime, this is too controversial device, even despite the modest price.

To my surprise, despite the manufacturer’s statements, navigation is not a factory option of Solaris at all! It is put by dealers, and regardless of the configuration of a particular car. The option turned out to be not cheap - 29, 000 rubles. for the head unit plus 5000 rubles. for installation. And if you also need to replace the frame (it depends on the execution of the center console), please give another 6000 rubles. A lot!

The main thing is that you get a full-fledged multimedia system with a large 7-inch touch screen, the ability to connect external hard drives and a rearview camera. All this is neatly inscribed in the center console - there is no sense of foreignness here.
And it’s very convenient to use: the virtual buttons are large, and the monitor is responsive even to weak touches. The Koreans chose iGO primo from Hungarian developers as the software. And they did not fail - this is one of the most convenient navigation programs to use.
