Talking about the handling of the Camry is hardly interesting - the model has never been and does not strive to become a driver car. The steering, as before, lacks information, but in general the car obediently carries out the driver’s commands, confidently accelerates and confidently slows down - more is not required from him. It is much more useful, probably, to compare two engines - the modernized V6 with a volume of 3.5 liters and the completely new 2.5-liter Quartet. On the rain-flooded roads of the Cote d'Azur, only the sophisticated driver could feel the difference in acceleration dynamics between the “four” and “six” - the younger engine was clearly successful and subjectively slightly inferior to the V6. And what a noble sound he has! According to the developers, the exhaust tuning was one of the main tasks for them to improve the feeling of model quality. In addition, the motor is very economical - I did not go beyond 10 liters per 100 km, despite the entire “fuel consumption” of the route, which combined mountain serpentines with city traffic jams. In general, in my opinion, it’s worth overpaying for a V6 engine only for the sake of the corresponding nameplates and an extra exhaust pipe at the stern.
