The engineers told me that they conducted a series of tests of the so-called cold start of the engine and achieved that they can guarantee the start of engines of 1.4 liters and 1.6 liters at minus 35 ° C. Now it remains to wait for the appearance of the first Rio in Russia and test them in the Russian winter not on a professional, but on a household level.

I liked the fact that Korean engineers pay special attention to trifles. Taking into account the long winter nights, optics will be installed on the new Rio with an extended lamp life of up to 1, 500 hours. The mirrors and the lower part of the windshield, where the wipers are in the off state, are provided, the washer nozzles are made three-point, so that better non-freezing liquid is sprayed. Accordingly, the washer reservoir was increased to 4 liters, equipped with a level sensor and a signal lamp was brought to the instrument panel. They also made sure that the non-freezing pairs penetrated into the salon less - they did learn that in Russia they could fill in all sorts of muck harmful to health in a tank! - and for this, improved drainage under the windshield.
