It turns out that formally there is every reason to cancel the inspection - at least for 34 million private cars. For this initiative, if implemented, everyone will say an enormous thank you to the president and will unanimously vote for him in the elections (if he nominates himself). Only, it seems, this is another utopia (it is, of course, about the abolition of inspection).

Thirdly. All other cars go to independent maintenance points and service centers where they check the main parameters: brake system, steering, “exhaust”. But often at PIKs, especially on the periphery, there are no modern stands for a complete diagnosis (the question price in each case is about a million dollars), so the checks go by eye and turn into nit-picking.
