"Sable" fiercely hates traffic jams. A few starts in a row for several minutes, even in winter - and the next time you turn on the clutch, the car begins to shake. The smoother you release the pedal, trying to soften the inclusion, the stronger the shaking. Having experimented, we come to the conclusion: the only way to get rid of shaking is to engage the clutch without hitches, throwing the pedal. Of course, the car jumps sharply and the box with the rear axle is not good. But there is no other indiscriminate method. We suspect that the cause of the fever is the birth warpage of the clutch disc. Perhaps because of this shaking at the 12th thousand when starting and accelerating, the gear lever began to go to the right - holding it, you feel how the whole power unit is spinning.

We open the engine compartment and try to gass on the spot. Each time the motor deviates to the right and seems to be about to lie on its side. The reason is the destruction of the rubber cushion of the left engine mount. Naturally, replaced by a new one. After a couple of thousand, I had to change the right one. It looks like both pillows are made of a rubber mixture with a predominance of soot.

"Sable" plastic also does not live long. Ventilation deflectors have practically collapsed - it is already impossible to regulate airflows with them. Cracked clutch reservoir tank. The item is cheap, but the job, taking into account the pumping of the drive, is not easy to master alone. The washer reservoir constantly jumped from the bracket to the hot motor. Secured with improvised means - stopped jumping, but fell apart (twice!). Now they have replaced the entire kit with "Nivovsky". We hope it will be more reliable.

On the move, the tension pulley of the generator belt stuck - its plastic floated, heating up from the rubbing belt. I had to change both. Partitions in the main silencer fell off, and it rumbled like a bucket of nuts.

A “snotty” steering mechanism is a phenomenon that is absolutely normal for our (is it just?) Sable. The main thing is to monitor the fluid level in the power steering tank.

The tailgate is a separate issue. It would seem that the car is a frame, but the trunk doors are skewed, the locks, no matter how you adjust, do not want to close. Apparently, because of these distortions, and maybe by itself jammed the tailgate lock - it stopped closing. They tied the door with a rope, then replaced the lock, but could not eliminate the distortions of the doors.

The side door is locked itself - the internal lock lock flag constantly falls. Everything would not be a problem, but it is located at the rear of the sliding door, so that through the front door you can not reach it. Therefore, when the car "works" at the pit stop, a key is constantly inserted in the lock cylinder. This is the only way to guarantee access to the middle of the machine. And the fallen off emblem of "Sable" is a mere trifle.

But it is not all that bad. The main units do not flow, although there is oil in them! The motor pleases with easy start-up in cold weather, quick warm-up, lively, lively character, and the body - with capacity and a powerful heating system.

The operation of the Sable, despite frequent repairs, is by no means ruinous. Prices for spare parts and even their replacement are low, and therefore a kilometer in operation is inexpensive, the main expenses are for gasoline.
