The order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the introduction of a new model of an international driver’s license (MVU) entered into force on May 31. Recall that international rights may be required abroad if the national Russian certificate was issued earlier than March 1, 2011.

However, no one could get new inter-rights these days, writes Rossiyskaya Gazeta. The reason is purely ours: Goznak did not manage to issue a sample form, and without it it is impossible to announce a tender for polygraphists for the mass printing of certificates.

The STSI continues to draw up an international document on old forms. In them, unlike the new ones, there is no line to indicate the subcategory of transport that the driver is entitled to drive. (In Russia, so far no subcategories have been adopted, but the corresponding bill has been introduced to the State Duma).
