Of course, not repaying debts is bad; I especially do not like alimony who do not want to support their children. But we must fight this evil in a civilized way! And our bailiffs, to the extent of their laziness and slowness, are coming up with new methods of weaning money that are unacceptable from the point of view of respectable citizens.

Why look for a debtor, go somewhere, follow, that is, engage in direct business? It’s easier to sit down at the post with a traffic cop, block the road and slow down everyone in a row - so that the whole city stands on its ears! You see, in a day you’ll catch a couple of villains. “What, long ago paid? I don’t know anything, the debtor is at the base, put your car here.”

Okay, in your hometown you can solve something - and if this happens on the border, for a half thousand kilometers from home? At the border post, it is impossible to find out why they declared not to travel abroad. And even if you pay the required amount at the nearest bank branch, it will still take several days until the debt is removed from the base.

COURT YES CASE

Indeed, bailiffs have the right to restrict travel abroad. True, for this, the creditor must go to court, that - to call the debtor, try to influence him by all legal methods and then embark on tricks. And the citizen should at least know that the hunt has begun on him. However, judicial decisions are sometimes made in the absence of the defendant, but who will you prove to the border that you do not live in the place where you are registered?.. After all, the bailiffs send a copy of the prohibition document only to the registration address!

On the website of the Federal Service of Bailiffs (fssprus.ru) there is information that more than 13, 000 people are on the list of “travel abroad” in the capital alone! Check on the site whether your name is in this list until it succeeds, but you can find out the address of the reception service and the hours of its operation. A visit to the metropolitan administration took me a few minutes (not counting the round-trip); a gloomy girl took her passport, checked at her base and returned: "There are no restrictions on departure."

At a checkup, my friend suddenly found out that his car is listed in the FSSP database as being arrested for debt. I had to go to the local office. There, it turned out that three years ago he had discovered a duty on the transport tax, for which the bailiff arrested the car. My friend did not know anything about it, although he himself repaid the debt in the same year. But that bailiff, it turns out, quit long ago, having forgotten to withdraw his arrest before that! This procedure takes two weeks. Therefore, I advise you to check in the database and the car.

TAX BURDEN

But there are other databases of debtors. On the website of the Tax Service (nalog.ru), I unexpectedly discovered that I had unpaid taxes in the amount of about 6, 000 rubles! Alas, again, directly on the site it is impossible to find out what kind of debts; an attempt to ring the indicated numbers did not lead to success. I had to go again - now to the tax office. They say I was lucky - the turn to the specialist took only an hour! It turned out that since last year debt has been credited to me - the tax on vehicle owners for two cars - Lada-113 and KIA-Sportidge - has not been paid. But I didn’t receive any receipts! Okay, I’ll pay, and I will download and print the receipt forms (filled out!) Directly from the site.

PENALTY SANCTION

Formally, you can get information about unpaid fines in your traffic police unit, and for this you will again have to personally visit the traffic police department. In the district traffic police department of the Department of Internal Affairs of my district, they were very surprised at the visit, but, having typed in personal data on the computer, they were pleased: I did not have any unpaid fines. However, the clerk noted: the information may be incomplete. After all, there is still no single database for the country, and it warrants for my integrity only within Moscow …

But that is not all. If you have a foreign car, especially bought on the secondary market (that is, they brought it into a country not new), you can check it for “customs clearance”. Speaking in Russian, find out if all customs payments have been made in full. And then when crossing the border they will break it through the base - and it turns out that it is listed as customs not cleared! In order to receive such information, you must come to the regional division of the FCS with a passport and documents for the car.

And it also happens that a car purchased in the secondary market was bought on credit. Alas, this type of fraud is quite widespread among us. Only here in our country there is no single database of credit cars (they promise to create this year), so in this case it is impossible to verify the purchase. Do not go to all the banks of your city! And in general, it seems that an attempt to go around all the institutions and check myself against all the databases in me is starting to turn into a mania … It's time for a vacation!

I got into the electronic database of debtors - wait for trouble. It’s bad when you learn about it all of a sudden, and it’s very disappointing when you’re not guilty, but you’re listed there. Before traveling, just in case, it is better to check, Igor Morzharetto advises.
