Add to this the statements of other officials from the mayor's office, and a new map of the capital and a program for the development of the Moscow transport hub until 2020, which has already been submitted to the Government of the Russian Federation, will begin to appear.
One of the main ideas in Moscow of the future is efficient, reliable and fast public transport, which is used by most residents of the capital. But to make Muscovites change from a car to public transport can only be a miracle.
Moscow 2020

TPU and train stations
Most likely, the authorities consider transportation hubs this miracle. In the near future, they should appear at all nine stations of the city and near metro stations distant from the center (close to the MKAD).
TPU will open on Savelovsky, and its construction will begin this year. There is a good idea - to integrate suburban rail links in the passenger transportation system of Moscow. Buses will go under the roof of TPU and in a minute get out of there. The passenger himself will decide on what to go further: by metro or ground transport. A one-story building will be built on Savelovsky. They will make a special lane for driving through the TPU building of legal taxis. The first lane adjacent to the station will be allocated as a transfer point. Passengers leaving the station will not have to carry their suitcases to the nearest stop for 300-400 meters.
Earlier it was said about plans to build 40 transfer points throughout the city. Among the metro stations near which TPU is planned to be built, Yasenevo, Vodny Stadion, Altufyevo, Tushinskaya were mentioned. For the first quarter, work is planned on the transfer hubs Yasenevo, Vodny Stadion, Zhulebino, Butovo. And three transport hubs will be built simultaneously with new metro stations: Pyatnitskaya, Novokosino, Lermontovsky Prospekt.
However, as TPU “Glider” shows, the authorities are not building exactly what the city needs. In addition to transport stops and parking lots, a shopping center is located in TPU, which only creates an additional load on transport and increases passenger traffic. And if you do not start a shopping center, then how to recoup the grandiose buildings? Dilemma.
Clever and clever
Moscow authorities announce a tender for the development of an intelligent transport system (ITS). This will be a set of systems that should optimize the operation of transport, manage traffic, make photo and video recording of traffic violations and monitor road conditions.
Metro
The metro will stretch its tentacles far beyond the Moscow Ring Road. Over the next five years, 75 km of metro lines will be built in Moscow. For comparison: for all years, about 300 km were built in the capital. The new Zyablikovo station of the Lublin-Dmitrov line will open in November-December 2011. And in September 2012, it is planned to open the Novokosino Kalinin line.
By 2012, there will be no turnstiles in buses, trolleybuses and trams, only validators will remain - to record the fact of the trip. In the meantime, after a few months, controllers will appear in the transport, and the fine for “rabbits” will be raised from 100 to 1000 rubles.
It's all about the graphics
As you know, rush hour on the road happens because everyone is sent together to or from work. So, you need to break the friendly schedule a little. Metropolitan officials have already changed their working hours. Next in line are large trading bases. The rest of the trade enterprises were asked to switch to the night mode of receiving goods so that trucks would not interfere with the rest of the transport.
Moscow said "no" to monorails - they say, an unprofitable story. Today the concept is changing: a new monorail from the Teply Stan metro station to the Slavyansky Mir shopping and hotel complex on the 41st km of the Moscow Ring Road is planned to be built in 2013. The length of the route is 3.7 km. The route will pass along the edge of Profsoyuznaya Street and cross the MKAD.
One of the main ideas in Moscow of the future is an efficient, reliable and fast passenger transport, which is used by most residents of the capital. In the near future it is planned to purchase more than 500 buses and about 200 trolleybuses.
MKAD
MKAD will still become wider. It is possible that in two bands - both from the outside and from the inside. And where this is not possible, double roads will be built.
CTK
Despite the suspended construction, the facilities that have already been erected as part of the project will be used. But how can you use a multi-level one - six above ground and one underground level - a parking lot for 4, 000 cars that has already been erected in the vicinity of the Partizanskaya station ?! There is one and a half kilometer to the metro … And since 20.895 billion rubles have been allocated for the CTK, this year a section will be built from the Enthusiasts highway to the Izmailovsky highway. The construction begun in pre-Dobyanin times will be completed, and then the ring will be laid "along a different route."
Expert Opinion
Joe Stark

Joe Stark, Director of Transportation Solutions, IBM:
- As world experience shows, it is possible to solve the problems of traffic, including Moscow traffic, only with the help of an expert council. It should include representatives of city authorities, experts in the field of movement, and leaders in high technology. It is with the help of the latter that you can debug the existing transport system
Vladimir Kryuchkov

Chairman of the non-profit partnership Intelligent Transport Systems - Russia Vladimir Kryuchkov:
- The creation of an intelligent transport system in Moscow will cost 27.7 billion rubles. Most of the required amount, 23.79 billion rubles, will be allocated from the capital’s budget, 1.99 billion from the federal budget and 1.33 billion from the Moscow region. From extrabudgetary sources it is planned to attract only 600 million rubles. The money will go not only to ITS, but also to modernize the transport system of the entire region.
