Torque transmission is easy to maintain with a belt drive. The 5-speed gearbox used in the design of the car is designed specifically for Can-Am Spyder - as stated by the manufacturer, it gives smoothness to the roadster in all modes. VSS is a stabilization system, it minimizes the risk of loss of control over the control of the device. In turn, VSS manages other subsystems. ABS - anti-lock braking system monitors the rotation of all three wheels and changes the braking force at the slightest risk of a lock. SCS is a system of stabilization of directional stability, this “brain” continuously analyzes the direction of movement and forces affecting directional stability, and, if necessary, adjusts the actions of the driver - it brakes a particular wheel and reduces engine torque if it is excessive in a specific situation. TCS - traction control system, it optimizes the torque transmitted to the rear wheel, and thereby helps the driver accelerate as efficiently as possible without resorting to steering.

Now about the other parts of artificial intelligence. DPS is a computer-controlled power steering, it takes effect at certain speeds and turns, as it “thinks”, are complicated, and optimizes the efforts of the driver’s hands when turning the steering wheel. EFI - a metering device that controls the amount of fuel that is injected into the cylinders - and the mixture burns most fully. Finally, DESS is a digital anti-theft system, it “enters the protection of property” at the command of an electronic key equipped with a personal driver code.

What a brain mass! Indeed, such a kit is more likely to be found on a premium car!

At the presentation, we were only able to get acquainted with the three-wheeled curiosity in passing: the mini-test (a couple of circles in the narrow, “gagged” kartodrome) did not give a sufficient idea of the car. But he left some vivid impressions. I well remember a slightly frightening feeling of emptiness under the fingers of my right hand - they sucked in air for braking: the Can-Am has a combined brake system (akin to the one installed on the Honda CBR1100 Super BlackBird), which is driven by a pedal under the right foot. But don’t look for the brake lever that is familiar to motorcyclists on the right clipper!.. I think it is unnecessary to say that the forks and stops on this tricycle are excluded. It is unusual for a motorcyclist that the device cannot be tilted in a turn - it turns like an ATV. If in the same turn the roadster, according to its own "understanding", "decides" that you overdid it with acceleration, it immediately mercilessly chokes the speed with all its many electronic systems - and an uncomfortable twitching resembles the "dance of St. Witt".

We simulate the situation of driving in traffic jams. It’s better not to think: it’s akin to a link to hell. Dimensions will not be "allowed" to travel between the aisles. That is, are you in a car? But there is no roof, there is no air conditioning or radio, and the skull in the helmet is heating up. On the other hand, roadsters are not transport for every working day, and dashing tugging on the warmed spring asphalt, far from urban crowding will bring delight to body and soul, and at the same time give an idea of the true purpose and possibilities of the three-wheeled miracle.

Two helmets fit into an impressive trunk trike. The box is locked with the ignition key, this luggage capacity of 44 liters makes the car convenient for travel and shopping.

Spyder's exclusivity is emphasized by a wide selection of options and accessories. The helmets proposed by the manufacturer, as well as equipment made of leather and textiles, made in the same Can-Am style, in addition to having excellent protective properties, make the driver and the car as a whole be perceived.

A lot of “goodies” from BRP for fans to “light”: a sports exhaust pipe, alloy 6-spoke wheels, even a dummy for the rear passenger seat. Everything is like for a real motorcycle.
