Almost immediately after the purchase I had to go for repairs and lay out a rather large amount: an “automatic machine” is an expensive thing. Today is another matter. Restore the damaged reputation helped new cars with automatic transmission. And not only foreign ones - domestic automobile plants, including Izh-Avto, are contributing. I try to accelerate more energetically: small jerks are noticeable when switching, but they only tell the driver that the "machine" worked successfully, and did not cause irritation. To accelerate sharply, I press the pedal "to the floor." It takes several moments for the information to be processed by the control unit, another fraction of a second for the inclusion of a downshift. While the pedal is recessed, the engine spins up to 6, 000 rpm, then a shift to overdrive follows. For a car weighing about 1200 kg with a 1.6 liter engine, it is quite confident acceleration - against the background of more famous classmates, it looks decent.
The gear ratios of the box are optimally selected: there are no delays during acceleration, and for overtaking it is not necessary to bring the matter to a kick-down, just add a little gas. Modes for severe traffic conditions are marked with numbers 2 and 3. The first will allow you to save the box on steep climbs, the second is useful when towing a trailer or car.
There is also an O / D button on the automatic transmission lever. If it is recessed and the lever is in the “D” position, then the first to third gears are involved. The fourth will not turn on, and in the instrument cluster the warning lamp lights up. This function is convenient in the "torn" mode of movement, when the box now and then jumps from III to IV and vice versa.
