The only car in the family is seen by Nissan Nout developers. Most likely, this family is young and not very wealthy (of course, by Japanese and European standards). As the chief designer of the project, Mr. Toyota (sic!), Explains, "lovers of active driving will not have to part with their usual driving style after giving birth or change a car in this regard."

In the Russian-language press release in relation to the new product there are two definitions - a hatchback and a compact van. Sounds like a mistake? Nevertheless, it allows us to understand how the car is presented to the consumer: “… it destroys the usual boundaries of the segments of the automobile market”, or else: “… it combines the comfort and technical equipment of segment C cars with the dynamics of segment B hatchbacks.”
The dynamics and comfort are really quite at the level, although the borders that are familiar to the author, the car could not be expanded. This is nothing to compare - if with the kids, then the thrill of riding really deserves praise, and in the compact class there are worthy rivals.
Like many modern cars, Nissan wheels are maximally spaced in the corners of the body - this at the same time gives greater smoothness and obedient reactions to steering actions. Maneuverability is somewhat deteriorating - in the parking lot, the Nissan Note behaves like a regular C-class.
To the advantages of the car, I would include an energy-intensive suspension (for its class, of course). At the roughest junctions, shock absorbers work stiffly, which is especially noticeable from the rear. However, this is hardly a drawback - you need to drive on the roads.

Nissan Note has a lot of trump cards. They were spying on potential buyers for a reason: this allowed us to construct a very comfortable interior. Quite high, despite the moderate vertical dimension of the car itself, with good transformation capabilities (it still does not reach mini-vans, but for a hatchback it is very good), with nice little things and even original finds. For example, I liked the idea with a pocket on the glove box lid (see photo) and some other finds of the Japanese … Or not the Japanese?
Fascinated by the emblem of the brand that is gaining popularity (sales in Russia over the year exceeded 60% - 46 thousand cars), I almost forgot that the European versions of the "Nouta" differ from the Japanese in the interior - the shape of the seats, movable rear seats, etc.

Given the ability to push the back seat, the interior is quite spacious. It is convenient here - without touching the ceiling, two adults will be placed above the average height. Teenagers will enjoy it all the more. But three adults will be cramped behind - strong doors and powerful racks, developed for the sake of safety, are constrained on the sides, although the overall width is impressive by the standards of the class - 1690 mm.

How do you feel about diesels? However, do not, do not answer. You will probably say something good about these engines, but bad - about fuel. The author perceives our national features with less skepticism, therefore favors diesel engines. Nissan has two of them - of the same displacement, but of different power: 68 and 86 hp. Both are equipped with intercooled supercharging, but are configured differently. On the more powerful, had a ride.

I liked the motor as a whole, although once again I caught myself thinking that modern diesel engines are close in characteristics to gasoline engines - at idle, as was the case in ancient times, they are no longer being driven, but they are spinning well, and efficiency is beyond praise. Alas, the appearance in Russia "Nissan Note" with diesel engines in the foreseeable future is not expected. We are waiting for cars with gasoline engines of 1.4 and 1.6 liters - the first with "mechanics", the second can also have a "machine".

Three options are planned equipment - Comfort, Luxury and Tekna. All include ABS, but differ in the number of airbags - two in the younger configuration, four in two more advanced ones. All machines offer an unusual Flexi-Board shelf. Firstly, it can be installed at different heights, and secondly, on two sides: with pile upholstery or smooth washable plastic. On the one hand, beauty, on the other, practicality.
Apparently, studying the habits of potential buyers, the designers were looking for a good compromise here. It seems they found it - and in this little thing, and in general, creating a practical, modern, city car. God grant that in our market it is also affordable.
