From the very first minutes I feel at home in a spacious salon. To the best of a large chair with a full long pillow is comfortable. The materials of the dashboard - solid, soft, even wooden details look quite organic here. Especially in combination with a large display, separate climate control, cruise control … In this interior, but on an expensive leather steering wheel, the FIAT emblem looks somehow unusual.

At the wheel, at least in regular, urban modes, the car responds quickly and accurately. Maneuvering in narrow alleys and in tight parking lots is easy. I was pleased that at higher speeds, the huge station wagon clearly and obediently follows where you are sending it
By the way, what is overclocking? No, it’s quite possible to start dynamically, only you need to push the pedal literally to the floor. But then, in the second gear, the car goes - just hold on. Suspicion crept in, but … the brakes distracted. They didn’t like them: not only was the pedal free play too big, but some kind of loose worker. You push, push without the expected effect - and suddenly the car finally stops, indecently biting his nose.

But I really got goofy about fifteen minutes later, when the photographer finally began to unfold his “music”, and when I got to know the car closer, I became convinced: under the hood, there’s diesel! I respected Krom even more: this is noise isolation! From the passenger compartment it is almost impossible to determine what kind of unit is under the hood, except by the reaction to the gas pedal. With such a diesel engine, a six-speed gearbox with a convenient lever-joystick is an excess, at least in the city. Three gears are enough here. But on long journeys, fuel consumption will probably be close to 4.9 l / 100 km declared by the company.

And what’s so much in “Except” is the place. For a driver of medium height, the passenger sits, as in a business-class sedan. Plus - not at all a “sedan” space above your head. The trunk is large, with drawers and niches enough for the whole family.
