An unpretentious buyer does not need to spend money on music: a cassette recorder, four speakers and an antenna are installed at the factory. By the way, his features were corrected a couple of years ago - the new bumper and radiator grille made the look good-natured. Ground clearance has increased, but not by much, so the Accent is still afraid of bumps. Alas, it is not even in expensive trim levels.
The visibility of the Accent is an example for many modern models. The glazing line runs quite low, moderately thin racks almost do not interfere with monitoring the situation, large exterior mirrors allow you to turn your head only occasionally. In a dense city stream it’s convenient to navigate, in parking lots you quickly get used to the rear size.
How will the passengers sit on the back sofa? It’s hard to figure out for three here - the class of the car is not the same. But two adults are quite comfortable. Therefore, a casual middle peasant is prepared with a belt, and not a diagonal seat belt. But the trunk is roomy and comfortable in shape. And after recent restyling, the back of the rear seat can also be laid out in parts.

He cordially responds to the gas pedal both when the tachometer needle walks at the beginning of the scale, and when it approaches the red zone. True, at medium speeds and higher, the engine declares itself with a sonorous bubbling.
Good dynamic characteristics of the car with automatic transmission. Of course, the “Accent” with two pedals loses a little to the “mechanics” in acceleration, but you cannot call it slow.
The main engine of the Taganrog Accent is a 1.5-liter 16-valve. However, small batches of cars had an engine with only a dozen valves - correspondingly, less power. The sprinting qualities and maximum speed of such Hyundai are more modest - though not much. But the complaisant nature of this unit is very similar to a more powerful relative (for more details ЗР, 2004, No. 3). In addition, the 91-horsepower engine is cost-effective - in terms of tax and insurance.
Modernization added energy-intensive suspension: the current “accents” are not as shaking on bumps as the cars of the first releases. But this stock on our roads is often not enough.
There was a strong opinion that the domestic car is not famous for reliability. The new generation of Russian cars, to which the Taganrog Hyundai Accent belongs, refutes this statement. This model took a lot of good from foreign cars - decent build quality and accessories, a non-poor level of equipment, comfort.
