Ergaki is so Ergaki … Four hours of summer from the capital to Krasnoyarsk, 12 hours by bus to Sayan - arrived at the place late at night (and it arrives here four hours earlier than in Moscow). Settled "home", hastily dined, failed in a dream. The last vestiges of consciousness: in a log house it smells of wood, snow creaks outside the window, a light dangles in the wind. Neither the noise of cars, nor computers, takes a cell phone … Grace … give … um …
He woke up the roar of a two-stroke from Bombardier: he was posing as a rooster, heralding the beginning of a new day. The Japanese, employees of the Yamaha representative office in Russia, and their partners from the Moscow company Trinity Sport, who dragged us, motorcycle journalists, into this hole, began to prepare the equipment for tests. We examined the snowmobiles, refueled with gasoline, started the engines. The launch took place “one at a time”, after the first turn of the ignition key (by the way, an immobilizer is built into it - an anti-theft system, which has been equipped with all Yamaha snowmobiles since 2005). But they were taken from the capital for a whole week, almost all the way to a 20-degree frost. And you go, all three cars “came to life” at once. 4-cycles sounded juicy and much quieter than that “cockerel” snowmobile, which feeds on a mixture of gasoline and oil.
On the porch he looked around. Around the beauties - not to describe! When I first heard the word “pies” in childhood, I imagined exactly that: deaf and slides, slides, slides … But there is no time to stare at each side - you need to look at the technique and the "training ground". An immense clearing, hills covered with trees … They explained to us: that section, below - "walking". And here is the tastiest thing - the ski-ridden trail abounding in treacherous turns and springboards. I figured it: everything on it to burn the engine, finish off the suspension, and at the same time curl my neck. The conditions for the test are perfect!

Where are we going, gentlemen? Here's the crossover RX Warrior, it is equipped with a daring 150-horsepower 4-stroke. Another, but not so pronounced sports model is the RS Rage. The third is the utilitarian VK Professional (it replaced the Yamaha two-stroke VK540E in the assortment range).
After yesterday (I'm talking about fatigue on a long journey), trotting did not attract. I realized: VK Professional has a calm disposition, and on it I will begin to develop the territory. Flopped into the saddle - drove off to the "virgin lands". I made a circle or two - I realized: unlike its predecessor, the VK540E, which was very noisy and "did not want to" accelerate, for VK Professional to get 100 km / h is an easy warm-up. The lightweight chassis and the new 120-horsepower 4-stroke engine instantly accelerate the national economic (by design) car to 120 km / h. The new design has a curved front suspension with increased ground clearance, as well as a special caterpillar that improves cross-country ability in deep snow. They allow you to overcome the most difficult areas and “fly” up the hills without goosebumps. Of course, on a prolonged lift, the engine is loaded, but the radiator, again new, eliminates the motor overheating. And if so, then the engine responds sensibly to the gas and does not "fall into tantrums." A well-developed front fairing, a soft, if not luxurious, saddle: on it, as it later turned out, three adult uncles in winter clothes are normally placed on it … What does this mean? That's right: the snowmobile is practical.

You are on it, but acceleration runs smoothly - and I have seen nightmares of bends and turns of the ski run! And the pendants, like an affectionate grandmother, guarded my tired mortal body. Notice: here is the suspension that breaks at the back of the track. This property of her saved from shame, and perhaps death.
It incurred me to fly up the hill. He clicked on the “trigger”, but with fatigue he didn’t notice that there was not a bend ahead, but a break. He braked in the last instant - half of the ski hung over the failure. Call for help? You won’t get ridicule. Yes, and who will hear?.. I turned on the reverse gear - it does not go. He turned around - right next to the back of the caterpillar a log went loose - he didn’t let it go. I’m stronger on gas!.. And then the caterpillar broke, drove into a log - exported …
