Mostly for other purposes - traveling or just traveling to work. Naturally, the requirements for the shoes of such cars are completely different: the tires should not only tolerate off-road behavior, but also excellently - on the highway, where the speed and cost of error are immeasurably higher.
Last year, the Dutch company Fredestein introduced the WINTRAC 4 XTREME winter super-fast tires for passenger cars. Tires for all-terrain vehicles arrived in time for the new season.

The tread pattern was dealt not only by designers, but also by designers from the famous art studio "Giugiaro". In the pattern of oblique slits, someone will find a hint of a zorro sign, someone on the wing of a seagull and even the first letter of the word WINTRAC. But that's not the point. The main thing is that the tire copes with its tasks: it does not make noise on the road, slows down on water, snow and ice and is obedient to the steering wheel. Here, the merit of not only the tread pattern with wide drainage grooves and many lamellas, but also the composition of the rubber compound. Fredestein uses OSP ™ (Optimum Silica Processing ™) technology for these tires. It provides stronger bonding between silicon and carbon, which improves the grip of the tire in cold and wet conditions and reduces wear.
