External inspection left a double impression. On the one hand, the enduro can be praised for its bright color, the abundance of plastic (though somewhat crooked at the back) and an attempt to modernize the design. The device has a mono-suspension of the rear wheel with a “backpack” shock absorber, a welded pendulum made of stamped parts and a duplex frame, crankcase protection, classic wheel size (18 and 21 inches) and a grip tire tread. The gas tank is locked, the key is the same as the ignition.
On the other hand, many features can be regarded as a "collective farm": cataphotics, the inscription "sport" on the front wing, variegated stickers (by the way, exfoliating). Modern “combat” enduros look outwardly more modest, but structurally, they are much more “charged”. However, the lack of technical bells and whistles will be welcomed by rural residents and extreme travelers: in which case, you can always add something from Izh or Voskhod.
The motorcycle is close in class to the best of the Russian Endur - ZiDu-200 Courier. But it is 10 kg lighter (due to the widespread use of plastic), it is equipped with a 4-stroke engine and a 5-speed gearbox. In technical terms, Endurik is based on Japanese licenses (the motor looks very much like a "narrow" one). But this is not a copy of any one model, but a “potpourri”.
We also found the Chinese “kooky", very reminiscent of the "kooky" of the Rosmotoprom. For example, a heavy steel tube for attaching reflectors to the front fork, too ingenious wire grabbing of the speedometer cable. All this is too cumbersome. The wing nuts, which are hidden from the eyes, turned out to be under the keys of different sizes, and one of them without a decorative coating. Here and there, the fasteners are not tightened, all the spokes of the front wheel are just baited (and therefore they made a strange creak when turning the wheel). And absolutely not at any gate - a weld on the side stop bracket: made sloppy, not cleaned of slag.
I sit behind the wheel. And he immediately noted that, although he “mows” it under a sports one, he’s not comfortable - he’s too direct, and he wants to bend his extremities a little on himself. But he appreciated the low height of the saddle. This will appeal not only to stunted drivers. In off-road situations (except for purely cross-country riding), it is useful to have the ability to reach the ground with your feet. Unfortunately, the payment for such confidence is a very modest suspension move, which means that the loss of part of the comfort when driving on "evil" off-road. So I would not call a 200GY a full-fledged enduro.
Governing bodies - on usual places, are made rather qualitatively. The instrument panel is not Spartan at all, as is customary on many enduros. There are indicators for turning on the dimensions, high beam, neutral and direction indicators. Sorry, there is no indicator of emergency oil pressure. This despite the fact that there is an element of luxury - a daily odometer. True, it is impossible to read his testimony during the movement. Too long-stroke throttle stick - these were popular until the mid-20th century. To unscrew the gas to the full, you need to intercept the handle with your palm, which is unacceptable during sports driving (after all, enduro!). An unexpected option is an alarm, it is activated by a lever on the left handle of the steering wheel.
Winding up the luggage machine, it was regrettable to see that the “sandwich” trunk was completely not designed to transport anything heavier than a hamburger. You can grab onto the plastic pad, but when you try to lift the motorcycle for it, it dangerously deforms and is about to burst. For an enduro, which implies the possibility of being stuck in mud or sand, this is a big drawback … To carry the necessary load in the run, a bicycle backpack was put in place - they simply secured it in the passenger seat.
The odometer shows zeros, it’s dry in the tank, which means that the motorcycle did not start spawning. How will the first launch go? The electric starter twists the motor for nothing. It’s my own fault: having rolled on scooters with a starting machine, I forgot about the enrichment. This motorcycle is equipped with the simplest spool carburetor, and an air damper is used to enrich the mixture when starting the engine.
As soon as the shutter was closed, the motor immediately came to life … But what prevents the leg? It turned out the kick lever: it is installed on the right, in Japanese, and sticks out to the side beyond measure. Just like on the “Owls”! Found a way out - moved the lever on the slots to the inoperative position. The need will come true (if the electric launcher “grunts”), you can always return it to its place. This is better than no kick at all … Looking ahead, I’ll say that there was no need to rearrange it - the electric starter worked like a clock.
It combines traction "on the bottoms" and the ability to "unwind." The box is quite “close-knit” - you can switch to 5th gear already at 40 km / h. Even in the "pampas" often accelerate to the full! But suddenly you are disappointed to find that the "maximum speed" is a little over 90 km / h.
On winding paths, the apparatus is surprisingly good. Moving the case, you maneuver on a light motorcycle as you like, and without touching the ground with your feet. There are enough short-hanging pendants on the sand - their disadvantage is manifested only on hard soil: shock absorbers “swallow” small irregularities, but if they are large, the suspension is “punched” and a knock is heard accompanied by the rattle of wings clinging to the tread.
The gearbox is not perfect: the gears are switched hard, but it is not always possible to catch the neutral the first time. The indicator lamp is also sometimes misleading: the neutral is on, and the light is off. This means that it will not be possible to start the engine with an electric starter - the chain lock will work. But a fraudulent move is also provided: the engine will start if you squeeze the clutch and press the hand brake lever.
The brakes seem to be the most commonplace: in the front there is a modest 2-piston “disco”, and behind it is a drum. In fact, they are on top! But this assessment is conditional: in the sand the most crappy brake will seem self-sufficient. However, after the "Caravan" I specially tried the effectiveness of the brakes on the asphalt - quite normal.
The steps are made in a smart way: rubber cushions are inserted into a metal base, similar to cross parts. Rubber is good for city driving. However, with enduric, it becomes dangerous: that foot glides from a wet surface. In this case, you can remove the rubber inserts - and the legs in the motobots will stand like a glove.
Quite a seemingly trifle - mirrors. But however, it should be noted that they are regulated in a wide range, in size - not small. But when driving faster than 60 km / h due to bumps, they always get lost from the “installation adjustments”.
Even at the beginning of the run, when the odometer showed the second hundred kilometers, the throttle began to jam in the carburetor. At first, the idle speed slightly increased, but I did not pay attention to this in the heat of passion of the race. When the apparatus "suffered" as with completely "open" gas, I had to uncover the instrument and in the middle of the desert study the designs of the power and intake systems.
