One of the reasons for the massive appeal to tuning is the generational change of the model. A typical example is the Volkswagen Golf. The appearance of each new one causes a surge of interest in boosting, styling and other miracles that can make an old car more attractive and brighter. But even more often, interest does not wake up immediately, but after some time, when the new generation is already being discontinued, replacing it with a supernova. Then the owners of the "old ladies" understand that their car really is time to refresh. And here it is - a relatively simple, cheap and effective solution to the problem.
It happened with the Ford Fiesta MK5. This car, popular in Europe, was produced from 1999 to 2002. In our country, these funny cars are not so rare. Now the seventh generation has replaced, the sixth is still quoted, but the fifth is gone. For a long time, "no longer."
Realizing that there was a demand for tuning this car, the specialists of the Belgian studio Carzone Specials prepared a program that could make the model look more modern and sportier. The bodycake design is made in the Japanese style - with large, complex in form elements, therefore it is called Samaurai (original spelling).
In general, the Carzone Specials surprisingly warmly relate to equipment discontinued. While other specialists in racing aerokits weigh new items, the Belgians calmly engage in "old people", without breaking prices and replicating their sets well - fortunately, the demand has not decreased all 17 years of work.
Years have not passed in vain: on the example of the Fiesta MK5, you can evaluate what the masters of the studio came to.
