Price in Europe?
In the morning I got up earlier than others: the gray sky completely sat on the roof of the hotel: the “rain” test cannot be avoided. Now I am only concerned with one thing - will the organizers replace the tires with rain tires or send us, poor fellow, to the mountains on non-rolled road tires? Judging by what I saw on the “spy” pictures on the Internet, the motorcycle is a thoroughbred street and does not at all look like a “friendly city bike, manual and obedient even to a woman”, as the manufacturer himself advertises it. Most likely, do not expect from such affection … And the asphalt is wet … Well, a day …
But at the exit from the hotel I see a most pleasant picture: the new ER-6n for each of us with serial numbers on gas tanks and sticker flags of the participating countries on the tail are waiting for their pilots. Gathered, sat on the bikes. The starters are whistling. The noise from the work of the in-line deuce barely penetrates the helmet, our “ensemble” did not even alarm the elderly frau, who, waiting for a taxi, took a nap at the entrance to the hotel. Let's go … And when the wheels went on the wet asphalt, their rustle completely blocked the sound of the engine. The visor of the helmet quickly rained. In such a situation, it is customary to concentrate on the road, but I noted that I manage to catch the interested views of passers-by. What does it mean? It’s easy to control the ER-6n, and you can see what’s going on around and imagine how the column caught the attention of onlookers. For example, the design of motorcycles: the unconventional arrangement of the rear shock absorber, a silencer packed in the belly of a motorcycle, figuratively “cut out” brake discs and side fairings - they are unusual today for a classic urban motorcycle …
ER-6n turned out to be not at all awkward. In the narrow streets of Salzburg, he effortlessly fit into turns, the pendants easily “ate” minor defects in the coating of old city streets, and when the road leveled off, it dynamically accelerated from 60 km / h. Although the clutch is controlled by a cable rather than hydraulics, the mechanism works gently. In the “coupling” with the powerful (for the “six hundred”) torque “on the bottoms” this creates a huge advantage in the city: when starting from a place and moving at low speed, you don’t have to endlessly “play” with the clutch lever, when the handle was throttle I didn’t “peck” or jerk, even when I deliberately went too far - I sharply “closed” the gas. In a word, “Kava” did not bother at all, and, leaving the city, I realized that I managed to get acquainted with the amazingly beautiful old Salzburg - the motorcycle did not for a second divert attention to “overcoming” itself.
