The fifth of the new Suzuki, according to its creators, was built on five principles: versatility, functionality, security, "seamless connection" of navigation, audio and video equipment and the ability to receive information (the company calls such a combination of infotaiment) and high performance. Follow the logic of the constructors and designers.
Large, almost 300 mm longer than the XL 7, the Suzuki is truly versatile. It comfortably accommodates six. Part of the spacious cabin, of course, can be used for luggage, shipping which is not difficult - the prototype does not have an average rack. All-wheel drive transmission - with a reduction gear, so that the "Concept X" does not save and on the roads, at least not heavy.
From a security point of view, the concept is armed very seriously. In addition to the already familiar ABS and ESP, the car is equipped with an option that is still infrequent on production models: a lane departure warning device. Sensors will notice that the driver crosses the marking without turning on the turn signal, and remind him of the error with a sound signal. The Suzuki has six airbags. “Circular defense” is assisted by two video cameras, which actually will not leave dead zones for the driver. In the event of an accident, the deployment of at least one airbag or an attempt to hijack, the car will dial 911 on its own. By the way, they promise that such equipment will soon appear on other Suzuki as well.
In addition to navigation and high-end audio equipment, the “Concept X” is equipped with satellite TV. To watch movies, “walks” on the World Wide Web or electronic correspondence, two 12-inch displays are mounted in front of the second and third row of seats.
Full vehicle specifications yet. However, the new 3.6 liter V 6 engine and a five-speed gearbox will surely provide Suzuki with good dynamics and traction.
