Most troubles, according to iron statistics, are caused by door defects. After all, even with a wardrobe, this is the most “high-tech” part: almost what’s wrong, it stops closing. The car door is structurally more complex, its functions are more diverse, and the working conditions are much harder. Not only that, we make many aesthetic requirements for it - so that it does not protrude over the smooth contours of the body, that the gaps along the perimeter are even, and so on. How to provide this?

Let's start with the hinges - hinges on which the door rotates. They are located outside the cabin and suffer a lot from dirt, salt, dust, etc. But all kinds of vibrations that “break” the hinges according to the avalanche principle are even worse: the greater the gaps, the sooner the further wear - on the road potholes, a massive door with a play will hit hard on the hinges and the castle. Faster than others, of course, the loops on the VAZ-2108 and -2113 with their wide “gates” “end”.
Regularly lubricating the loops, you will slightly slow down this process. Better yet, if the loops are permanently lubricated. To do this, we use the proven technology: from sheet felt with a thickness of 6-8 mm, we cut out the brackets shown in the figure and photo 1. Putting them tightly on the hinges, saturate with oil - and order. The wear of the loops, knocking in them, etc., are significantly reduced compared with any “control” car.
