The motor turned out to be very elastic. The maximum torque is equally high in the range from 1800 to 5000 rpm, which, of course, will appeal to all drivers. The box is 6-speed. The chassis is the same as in S4. Quattro GmbH, of course. The suspension is 20 mm lower due to the springs. But from the outside it is almost not noticeable. In general, the appearance of a special series is extremely modest. Only 18-inch wheels are striking - their design is what evokes associations with the DTM.
You can confirm the guesses by looking at the sides and the trunk lid, where the badges that show the belonging of the car to a limited series are flaunted. Secondary signs: black-painted mirror housings, vents under the grille, air vents on the rear bumper and a carbon spoiler on the trunk lid.
Correcting something in the interior of Audi is difficult. But embellishing a little is quite real. The company decided that a special version lacks sporty elegance. It was created with rugs and door sills with the DTM logo and silver stitching. Seats from Recaro designed in the same style, not sparing them Alcantara. Faux suede is fitted with a 3-spoke steering wheel, gear knob and parking brake. Decorative carbon panels migrated unchanged from S4. Xenon headlights, an automatic climate control system, large airbags and the latest generation ESP are standard on the special series. Nobody forbids tuning this car. But does that make sense?
