A car, of course, is a comfortable thing, but it’s very dirty. What does not fly out of it or pour out. And all is to the detriment of the environment. Well, we learned more or less how to deal with the toxicity of exhaust gases, but it is still tense with the disposal of technical fluids, especially in our country. Here, for example, working out. Where to put it?

Most motorists try to use the used oil on their own. Someone pours it into the hidden cavities of their car, someone paints a fence or impregnates wooden structures (helps). And someone just merges into the nearest ditch. Like, will resolve.

Meanwhile, the “mining” is full of environmentally hazardous components: polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, polychlorinated biphenyls, sulfur and chlorine additives, compounds of lead, barium, antimony, zinc; nitrites. Hydrocarbons of oils are very poorly decomposed by bacteria and therefore gradually accumulate in the environment.

It’s worse to burn oil. From this, even more toxic compounds are formed - dioxins. For example, in the USA in 1989 they were found in air and drinking water. But more often than not, spent fuel and lubricants poison the soil. And, above all, from small leaks. They account for up to 85% of all pollution, and only the remainder is for major accidents. Meanwhile, waste oil compounds provoke cancer, mutations of the human body, disorders of the immune system, and infertility.

Why so much poison in oils? In addition to their lubricating base, they have a whole package of various additives that decompose over time and under the influence of high temperature. To them are added antiknock from gasoline and engine wear products. The development of synthetic oils is very toxic. Phosphoric esters, which are part of them, can adversely affect the nervous system. No less dangerous brake fluid, antifreeze and electrolyte …

In principle, all this can be passed. But they take all the poison mainly in large cities, and each type of waste in a separate enterprise. This, of course, is inconvenient, but because motorists in the old fashion everything is poured onto the ground. And not only them. For example, the land beneath automobile plants tens of meters deep is saturated with oil products. If you demolish buildings, you will have to neutralize thousands of cubic meters of soil.

But how to process all this? There are many ways, but they are all quite expensive and ineffective. There are cracking boilers for oils, where they decompose into simpler substances under the influence of temperatures. This technology has been known since 1908, but is not very effective and quite expensive. They also use centrifuges, but they do not really outperform boilers in terms of efficiency.

But there is a way. I came up with an apparatus capable of disposing of any waste from auto chemical goods. What is important: it is small, inexpensive, easy to use. You can scrape the oiled ground from the floor, mixed with shavings, wire, rags, add mining, electrolyte, brake, antifreeze - the device will digest all this without any problems.

The unit is arranged quite simply. A cylinder closed on both sides, inside of which is a rotor with working elements, resembling a combine harvester header. In appearance, the device is similar to a large meat grinder with an electric drive: mining is poured into the neck (or laid with dirt), which is smeared with a thin layer on the inner surface of the cylinder heated to a high temperature. As a result, multicomponent substances are destroyed to harmlessly simple. This, in fact, is the cracking process. At the exit - dry residue and combustible flue gas (used for heating). You can, for example, accumulate mining during the summer, and in the winter get warm due to it!

My development (the official name of the unit is “Centrifugal Layer Rotary Apparatus”) is quite versatile and can be used, for example, to purify water from oil products. How can one not recall the recent tanker disaster off the coast of Spain! Here they would have such an apparatus … And if you replace the rotor, then you can make fertilizers or something else … Well, this is from another opera.

If you establish the industrial production of such devices, then you can solve many problems. Maybe our state employees will stop suffering nonsense and put the unit into production? After all, we have already done so much in nature - and look, it will flood over the edge …
